About campsite

Forest View is a rustic tent campsite set within an older stand of maples, hickory, and redwoods, creating a shaded and more secluded camping experience. The site is especially appealing for guests who want to feel surrounded by the woods rather than out in the open, with a setting defined by mature trees, natural texture, and a slower, quieter atmosphere.

The area also reflects the preserve’s ongoing stewardship efforts, including work to establish American chestnuts as part of the evolving forest landscape. The campsite is approximately 25’ x 25’ and includes a leveled 10’ x 20’ tent pad for a more comfortable setup.

Cell service is generally available for most major carriers, and Wi-Fi hotspot access is available at the camp store. Optional add-ons, rentals, and camp store items are available through Hipcamp and at the camp store.

Spring site photos coming soon.
